#1 - Easy like Sunday morning
Easy peasy, easy like Sunday morning, ABCs, 123...
Well, maybe not easy like Sunday morning, my Sunday mornings are far from easy but I like that phrase, so we’re going to run with it.
Let’s get to why we’re here. 😂
I love comfort, in every way, one of my favourite things to say is “I’m a soft babe, I deserve a soft life”. Somehow, this has carried itself to my clothes/fashion style and that’s what I’m going to be sharing with you today.
In this entry, I’ll be showing you a few of my favourite “easy” clothes and their parent stores.
If I’ve patronised the brands mentioned, I’ll let you know, I’ll also let you know what to expect maybe with pictures of me in the clothes. If I’ve not, I’ll also let you know, so let’s get into it.
TwentySix.Co
They’re on my top 10 Nigerian fashion brands list because of how comfortable their pieces are. I’m talking about go-to-a-buffet-and-eat-like-a-thief-and-still-look-like-a-babe comfortable. I’ve got a bunch of pieces from them and the service is great, really great prices.
You can see for yourself on their Instagram here
MOT the Label
I’ve not gotten anything from them yet, but there are a few of their pieces that have caught my eye.
My hang-up is that it says “Fashionable, functional & affordable RTW clothing for women” on their Instagram but NGN 25,000 for a plain dress doesn’t feel very affordable to me, or am I being cheap?
Ah, they have a new collection too!
1964
I love love love this brand, it’s such an amazing mix of girly, sweet and comfortable. They have such a way with colours, they always manage to pick colours that look really good on dark-skinned women.
Another wonderful part about this brand is that most of their pieces have pockets.
I hear they’ve got a new drop, they’re really active on Instagram so take a look.
VWH Apparel
What is a piece about African fashion brands without a brand that makes stunning pieces from local fabric such as Ankara, Adire and Batik.
Introducing VWH apparel, they make "Basic and luxury Ankara and Adire apparel for women”. They’ve got a ton of amazing styles and prints to choose from and really great customer service too!
I think you should probably follow them, they offer really great discounts from time to time, the most recent was 20% off everything around payday.
Hamster and Co.
Lougewear by Hamster and Co.
First of all, I really like the name. It already sounds comfortable.
But yes, the last brand I’m going to put you on to today is Hamster and Co, this is proper loungewear. I’m talking sweats and jumpers, shorts and t-shirts.
I haven’t tried them yet but I want to. They have a lot of different styles for both men and women at great prices. This is a really important point because it’s really hard to find affordable clothes of great quality for men in Lagos. It’s super refreshing to find a brand that does just this.

Looks like we made it to the end of the first one.
I really hope I can keep this up whilst becoming a better writer and curator.
I originally wanted to share pictures of my favourite pieces from each of the brands but I worry about copyright issues, so I need to research and see what to do for images that aren’t mine.
Thank you for hanging with me and see you soon ❤️

I’m excited about this! 🤸🏾♀️
